With this message, I welcome you to a unique school and extraordinary program.
Sometimes called the “best kept secret” in Los Angeles, City of Angels Independent Study School serves 2500 Kindergarten through 12th Grade students with almost one hundred teachers located throughout Los Angeles at 24 different locations.
A complete list of the locations is located on the website. City of Angels School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and is a regular Los Angeles Unified School District school (under the division of educational options) affiliated with United Teachers, Los Angeles, Associated Administrators of Los Angeles and all of the other employee unions and associations. We offer the same opportunities and curriculum for students available at traditional schools.
As an independent study school embracing the latest innovations in teaching and learning, City of Angels has also started implementing distance learning (online learning) in association with LAUSD Instructional Technology Division and various platforms. We are dedicated to pushing the envelope regarding alternative education to provide the best program possible for our students.
